The highly-anticipated start of the 2024 racing season is just around the corner! The MTHelmets-MSi team is all ready to kick off the year with a spectacular livery unveiling event in Madrid, Spain, tomorrow, February 12, 2024. The team’s diverse lineup promises an exhilarating season ahead, featuring riders across various categories.

In the Moto3 category, the dynamic duo of Ivan Ortola and Ryusei Yamanaka will represent the MTHelmets-MSi team. The Moto2 category will see the talents of Ai Ogura and Sergio Garcia. On the other hand, Miquel Pons and Oscar Gutierrez will don the team colours in the electric-powered MotoE category. Completing the lineup is Hakim Danish, who will be the sole representative in the JuniorGP Championship. He will be racing under the team name SIC Racing-Msi.

Hakim Danish competed full-time in the European Talent Cup (ETC) category for the past two years. The Malaysian rider is now ready to take on a new challenge in the JuniorGP category.

As the only rider for the MTHelmets-MSi team in JuniorGP, Hakim is ready to showcase his skills and determination in this highly competitive field.

“Making my debut in the JuniorGP category this season is a dream come true. I am very grateful to MTHelmets-MSi and ZK Racing for giving me this opportunity. Throughout the off-season, I have been training to build a strong foundation in preparation for the season ahead,” says Hakim.

“I want to do my best for myself, and my team, and to learn as much as possible to showcase my best performances even in my rookie year. I also want to thank SIC and KBS for continuing to believe in and support me.”

The FIM JuniorGP Championship will kick off on April 21, 2024. The event will take place at the Emilia-Romagna Circuit in Italy, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.

Hakim Danish’s transition from the European Talent Cup to the JuniorGP category is a testament to his growing expertise and the team’s commitment to nurturing young talents.

Notable changes in the team structure for the JuniorGP category include the appointment of Zulfahmi Khairuddin as the manager of the SIC Racing-Msi team. Working alongside one crew member from Europe and three from Malaysia, Khairuddin brings a wealth of experience to the team. This further enhances their capabilities for the upcoming season.

The MTHelmets-MSi team’s commitment to excellence and the development of emerging talents is evident in their diverse and skilled lineup. Stay tuned as the MTHelmets-MSi team as they set the stage for an adrenaline-packed year of racing action.
