Yamaha has unveiled the 2023 Yamaha YZF-R15M Monster Energy Edition in Malaysia, and it’s creating quite a buzz.

Yamaha YZF-R15M

The YZF-R15M’s powerhouse is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with four valves and variable valve actuation (VVA).

This engine delivers 19.04 hp at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm from its 155 cc capacity.

The six-speed gearbox comes with a quickshifter and an assist and slipper clutch, enhancing your riding experience.It uses a chain final drive to efficiently transfer power to the rear wheel.

For a comfortable and controlled ride, the YZF-R15M features non-adjustable upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear.

For safety, the bike has single hydraulic brake discs in the front and rear, along with standard two-channel ABS. It rolls on 17-inch wheels with 100/80 front and 140/70 rear tires.

The YZF-R15M’s dashboard has a modern monochrome LCD display with two modes, showing important info like a laptimer and traction control settings.

It also features energy-efficient LED lights, including LED DRLs and the headlight. Weighing 140 kg with an 11-liter fuel tank, it’s built for agility and endurance. The seat height is a comfortable 815 mm.
