The GPX Demon GR200R and GPX Legend 250 Twin II will be launched in Malaysia in December 2020! Here are the specifications and pricing details!

The Thai automaker, GPX started its journey back in 2007 with ATVs. 2 years later, in 2009, GPX released its first bike, the Panther Jumper Scrambler. Following this GPX slowly expanded itself as well as its product range and moved into markets outside of Thailand.  In the case of Malaysia, the brand got a lot of attention because of its product range and the affordable price tag the brand’s motorcycles came with.

Following the launch of the POPZ 110 a few months earlier, GPX Malaysia will be launching the GPX Demon GR200R and the GPX Legend 250 II for 2020. In fact, GPX Malaysia confirmed to us both the models will be launched around the same time in December 2020.

GPX Demon GR200R

The GPX Demon GR200R falls just above the GPX Demon 150 GN and Demon 150 GR under the brand’s sports bike lineup.  Unlike the Ducati Panigale inspired Demon 150, the new GR200R follows its own design cues. The GR200R’s follows a sleek modern design from the aggressive front fascia to the sporty sharp tail section. The GPX GR200R comes with LED lighting all around and a full LED instrument cluster that presents vital information to the rider.

In the case of the engine, the GPX Demon GR200R features a liquid-cooled 198cc single-cylinder 4 stroke engine [Delphi Fi]. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox,  the GR200R produces 17.2 Nm @ 6,500 rpm and around 18 hp [ Estimated].

Suspension duties are taken care by USD upside-down fork up front and YSS multi-link setup with adjustable preload at the rear. As for the brakes, 2 pot calliper with 276 mm disc up front and single pot calliper with 220 mm disc at the rear takes care of the business.

GPX Demon GR200R Malaysia Price

As for the price, our sources stated the incoming GPX Demon GR200R would be priced around 11,000 MYR in Malaysia.

GPX Legend 250 Twin II

To start off, the Legend 250 Twin that we will be receiving is the 2nd variant of the 250 Twin.  Just like the Legend 150, the Legend 250 Twin follows Café racer aesthetics.

However, unlike the Legend 150, the new Legend 250 Twin features LED lighting all around with front DRL and a full LED instrument cluster.

Aside from this, as the name suggests the 250 Twin is powered by a 234cc 2-cylinder 4-stroke Fi engine [Delphi Fi]. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the Legend 250 Twin II produces 15 Nm @ 6,5000 rpm and about 19-20 hp [Estimated].

Braking duties are handled by 4 pot 276mm Twin disc brake upfront and single pot disc brake with 220 mm disc at the rear. As for the suspension, the Legend 250 Twin comes with upside-down front fork and nitrogen filled YSS Twin shocks at the rear.
