Royal Enfield has been spending time with working on a scrambler-style motorcycle for quite a while and several spy shots have made its way to our news in a number of occasions. Now instead of wondering how the bike will turn out, the firm has released an official teaser for the new Royal Enfield Trials 350 and 500. The bikes will be showcased at a special event on March 26, 2019. The teaser reveals a glimpse of the bike with the silver paint scheme, chrome cycle parts and the raised exhaust. The new special edition bikes are based on the Classic platform with the chassis finished in contrast colours. The bike does not have many mechanical changes and is likely to use the same telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The standard Royal Enfield Classic 350 features a 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of delivering 19bhp and 28Nm of peak torque whereas the Classic 500 is powered by a 499cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor that delivers 27 bhp and 41 Nm of peak torque. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension will not receive any change when travelling, while braking performance will come from disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS as standard.
