Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. has officially unveiled the 2026 updates for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES and Honda X-ADV for the Malaysian market. The refreshed models bring updated styling touches and refined offerings aimed at strengthening Honda’s presence in the premium adventure and adventure-scooter segments.
Leading the announcement is the 2026 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES, now priced at RM99,888 excluding road tax, insurance and registration. The updated Africa Twin arrives in two new colour options; Pearl Glare White and Matte Iridium Gray Metallic, and continues to be offered with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects. Aside from the colour refresh and new pricing, specifications and equipment remain unchanged.

The Africa Twin continues to be powered by a 1,084 cc parallel-twin engine producing 102 hp at 7,500 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, paired with Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
Suspension duties are handled by Showa EERA electronic suspension at both ends, providing real-time damping adjustment across four modes: Hard, Mid, Soft and Off-Road. Braking performance comes from twin discs with radial-mounted four-piston calipers at the front and a single disc at the rear, supported by cornering ABS with the option to deactivate the rear ABS for off-road riding.
For rider comfort and versatility, the Africa Twin features an adjustable seat height between 820 mm and 840 mm, along with a five-level manually adjustable windshield. Electronic riding aids include wheelie control, selectable traction control levels and four riding modes; Tour, Urban, Gravel and Off-Road.
The bike also comes equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen display supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Suspension travel is set at 210 mm front and rear, with fuel capacity at 24.5 litres and a wet weight of 243 kg.

Alongside the Africa Twin, Honda also introduced the 2026 Honda X-ADV, which receives new colour options for the Malaysian market. The X-ADV now comes in Matte Deep Mud Grey and Graphite Black, both priced at RM70,999, while Matte Pearl Glare White is offered at RM71,999. Apart from the colour updates, the scooter’s specifications remain unchanged.
Powering the X-ADV is a 745 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine delivering 57.8 hp at 6,750 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm, with Honda’s six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. The system features five shift modes, ranging from relaxed cruising in Level 1 to more aggressive performance in Level 4, with Level 2 linked to Standard riding mode and Level 3 positioned between Standard and Sport. Throttle response has also been refined for smoother control at low speeds, particularly during manoeuvres such as U-turns.

The X-ADV weighs 236 kg and carries 13.2 litres of fuel, with a seat height of 820 mm designed for easier reach to the ground. Practical features include Honda Smart Key, a 22-litre under-seat storage compartment, front cowl storage, and a USB-C charging socket.
The adventure scooter also features auto-cancelling turn signals that double as daytime running lights, using wheel speed sensors to detect turning instead of relying on a timer. Traction control offers three levels plus an off setting, while braking is handled by twin 296 mm discs with four-piston calipers at the front and a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear, supported by two-channel ABS.
Riding electronics include four ride modes; Standard, Sport, Rain and Gravel, along with a customizable User mode for adjusting power delivery, engine braking, ABS and traction control. Suspension consists of upside-down forks at the front and a rear monoshock.
