MotoGP and Sky Italia have announced a new multi-year agreement that will see Sky Sport remain the exclusive home of MotoGP in Italy until the end of the 2027 season. The deal ensures fans can continue to watch every MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 Grand Prix race live across Sky and NOW, with selected races also broadcast free-to-air on TV8.

The dedicated Sky Sport MotoGP channel will continue as the reference point for coverage, delivering around 30 hours of live programming each race weekend. This includes on-track action, in-depth analysis, interviews, and original editorial content that has defined Sky’s MotoGP broadcasts for more than a decade.

Coverage under the new agreement begins early in the season, with Sky Sport set to air the Shakedown Test and the first official MotoGP test in late January at Sepang International Circuit. Channel 208 will once again provide comprehensive editorial coverage, powered by Sky’s broadcast team and advanced production technology designed to bring fans closer to the action.

Andrea Duilio, CEO of Sky Italia, said the renewed partnership underlines MotoGP’s importance within Sky’s motorsports portfolio. “We are proud to announce this new agreement with Dorna and to continue bringing the adrenaline of two wheels into the homes of fans. For 11 years, the World Championship has been a cornerstone of our sports offering, and it will remain so until the end of 2027.”

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, welcomed the extension, highlighting MotoGP’s recent growth. “Sky Sport is a fantastic partner for MotoGP. In 2025, MotoGP saw increases in global average audiences, significant fanbase growth, and nine record crowds. Partners like Sky Sport play a key role in the future of the championship, and we’re very happy to continue this journey together.”

Beyond live race coverage, fans will also have access to real-time news, interviews, and analysis via Sky Sport 24, the Sky Sport website and app, and official Sky Sport social media platforms.

MotoGP returns to action in January and February with pre-season testing and the official 2026 season launch in Kuala Lumpur, before racing gets underway at Chang International Circuit from 27 February to 1 March. With Sky’s extended commitment secured, Italian fans can look forward to uninterrupted, world-class MotoGP coverage for seasons to come.
