The 2025 MotoGP season concluded in spectacular fashion at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, where more than 200,000 spectators packed the grandstands over the weekend to witness Aprilia Racing’s Marco Bezzecchi storm to victory in the final race of the year.

This massive turnout pushed total global attendance for the 2025 season beyond 3.6 million fans, marking a historic new record for the championship. A combination of an expanded 22-round calendar, the continued success of the Tissot Sprint races introduced in 2023, and enhanced fan engagement activities contributed to the sport’s sharp rise in in-person audiences.

This year, nine circuits across the calendar reported their highest-ever spectator numbers—further proof of MotoGP’s accelerating global appeal and its ability to attract new and returning fans from all corners of the world.

The electrifying finale extended into the evening with the MotoGP Awards, attended by an additional two thousand fans. The biggest moment of the night belonged to Marc Marquez, who lifted the 2025 MotoGP World Championship trophy after completing what has been widely hailed as the greatest comeback in motorsport history.

MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta praised the season’s achievements, describing 2025 as a landmark year for the championship.

“This season has been extraordinary for MotoGP, with record-breaking crowds and unforgettable racing. Passing 3.6 million attending fans is a milestone that reflects how MotoGP continues to grow globally while staying true to its roots. Valencia was the perfect finale, a year after devastating floods forced us to cancel, our fans turned up in huge numbers each day to show the strength of this community,” he said.

The action will continue almost immediately as MotoGP kicks off its traditional post-season test on Tuesday, 18 November, also in Valencia. Riders and teams will begin evaluating their 2026 machinery, including welcoming two new stars to the premier class: Brazil’s Diogo Moreira, freshly crowned Moto2™ World Champion, and Turkey’s Toprak Razgatlioglu, the three-time WorldSBK champion making his highly anticipated MotoGP debut.

With record crowds, historic performances, and a wave of new talent joining the grid, the stage is already set for an exciting 2026 MotoGP season.
