Beta Motor replaces its long-running EVO series with the 2026 Sincro lineup, an all-new, lighter, and more responsive generation of trials bikes designed for ultimate rider control.

Beta Motor, one of Italy’s most respected off-road manufacturers, has officially introduced its all-new Sincro lineup of trials motorcycles, signalling the end of the long-running EVO series. The new Sincro platform represents a complete redesign from the ground up, developed in collaboration with Beta’s factory riders to create a machine that delivers sharper handling, superior balance, and seamless rider connection.

A Successor to a Trials Icon

Since its debut in 2009, the Beta EVO has been a dominant force in global trials competition, powering countless factory and privateer riders to victories in the FIM Trial World Championship. Now, after more than a decade of success, the EVO nameplate makes way for the Sincro, a platform Beta describes as the “perfect harmony between rider and machine.”

The term “Sincro,” derived from “synchronisation,” underscores Beta’s ambition to create an unprecedented level of control and connection, allowing every input from the rider to translate directly into precise, fluid movement.

Engineering a New Standard

At the core of the Sincro is a completely new engine and chassis design. Beta’s engineering team has developed a new aluminium backbone frame, centralising mass and improving handling in tight, technical terrain. The redesigned 300cc two-stroke engine retains the familiar bore and stroke dimensions of the EVO but incorporates a host of new internal components, including revised transfer port geometry and optimized crankshaft balance.

Engineers re-engineered the flywheel with a reduced diameter and lower inertia to deliver quicker throttle response, while increasing the crankshaft’s mass to stabilise low-speed performance. This redesign balances agility and control, giving riders instant power for tackling obstacles and precise modulation for maintaining traction and balance.

More Control, Less Fatigue

Engineers overhauled the new clutch assembly to deliver smoother engagement and greater durability under pressure. Beta states that the redesigned unit reduces rider fatigue and maintains a consistent feel during extended use, an essential advantage in the physically demanding world of trials competition.

For the first time, the Sincro 300 will also be available with an optional electric start, offering convenience for riders who often face challenging terrain where kick-starting can be difficult. Combined with improved ergonomics and lighter overall weight, these features make the Sincro both more approachable and more capable for riders of varying skill levels.

Born from Competition

Beta developed the Sincro in close collaboration with its factory racing division, integrating direct input from professional riders. Engineers designed every element, from the right-side kick starter and left-side chain drive to the refined frame geometry, to enhance rider feedback and maximise traction.

This synergy between factory testing and engineering innovation is a hallmark of Beta’s development philosophy. Many of the world’s leading off-road racers, including hard enduro stars like Manuel Lettenbichler, Mario Roman, and Billy Bolt, credit their trials training for their precision and control in extreme terrain, a legacy Beta aims to extend with the Sincro series.

Availability and Outlook

The 2026 Beta Sincro 300 2-Stroke will arrive in dealerships beginning December 2025, with additional displacement options expected to follow. While visually reminiscent of the EVO, the new Sincro’s refined performance and rider-focused engineering mark a decisive evolution for Beta’s trials program.

With its balance of lighter weight, sharper handling, and refined engine response, the Sincro line positions Beta to set a new benchmark in trials motorcycle design and reaffirm its status as one of the most innovative names in the world of off-road competition.
