Yatri Motorcycles, Nepal’s homegrown premium EV brand, is redefining how electric two-wheelers are built by embracing the power of cloud-native engineering. The company has partnered with Dassault Systèmes to adopt the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, using it as the digital backbone for designing its next-generation electric motorcycles and charging infrastructure.

Speed and precision matter in EV development. Yatri used virtual design tools to shorten its product development cycle significantly. The P2 scooter MVP went from a 12-month timeline to just 7 months—a 40% acceleration. Yatri simulated structural performance and fatigue early in the design phase, reducing reliance on physical prototypes.

A Digital-First Manufacturing Model

Unlike traditional vehicle development, Yatri’s approach leans heavily on simulation-driven workflows. Tools like Abaqus and FE-Safe from Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA suite made this possible. These applications allowed engineers to test performance without needing multiple rounds of costly physical prototypes.
