In a major motorcycling development, Royal Enfield has unveiled a new studio store in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

This marks the first Royal Enfield studio store in East Malaysia, the 162nd in the Asia Pacific region. The launch coincided with the debut of the Super Meteor 650 in Sabah, attended by esteemed guests, including Tuan Yang Terutama, Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (DR.) Haji Juhar Bin Datuk Haji Mahiruddin.

The event, held on October 28, 2023, saw 50 enthusiastic participants celebrating the arrival of the Super Meteor 650. Mr. Rewi Hamid Bugo, Chairman of Didi Group, expressed his excitement, saying, “We’re thrilled to announce the Super Meteor 650’s arrival in the very first Royal Enfield Studio Store in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.”

This significant event coincides with the grand opening of the first Royal Enfield Studio Store in Kota Kinabalu by Stunning Bike.

It marks a new era for motorcycle enthusiasts in the region, offering improved accessibility to customers in East Malaysia. With Royal Enfield and Didi Group working together, we’re confident in establishing a strong presence in the Malaysian market.

As part of the celebration, Tuan Yang Terutama, Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (DR.) Haji Juhar Bin Datuk Haji Mahiruddin led the official Royal Enfield Ride in Kota Kinabalu.

This exciting ride brought motorcycling enthusiasts together, promoting friendship and celebrating the joy of two-wheeled adventures.

The introduction of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in Sabah and the launch of the first Studio Store reflect Royal Enfield’s commitment to delivering an exceptional motorcycling experience for the local community.

Super Meteor 650

The presence of Tuan Yang Terutama, Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (DR.) Haji Juhar Bin Datuk Haji Mahiruddin at this event made it a memorable moment for motorcycling in Sabah, Malaysia.

The Super Meteor 650, created in collaboration with Harris Performance at the UK Technology Centre, features a new frame and swingarm for improved stability and maneuverability.

Its chassis has innovative features, including a new cylinder head mount for extra stiffness. The Super Meteor 650 comes with Royal Enfield’s first USD forks and high-quality rear shocks, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride.

This motorcycle has a classic cruiser look with a low stance, wide seat, foot controls placed forward, and raised handlebars.

It provides an extended range with a large fuel tank and reliable tubeless tires on alloy rims. The rider’s view and controls are excellent, with a stylish instrument cluster that combines analog and digital elements.

The Super Meteor 650 also features turn-by-turn navigation through smartphone Bluetooth connection. The Super Meteor 650 is offered in two versions with a choice of seven colors.

It includes genuine motorcycle accessories like t-shirts, helmets, bags, and more, enhancing the motorcycling experience.

The Super Meteor 650’s arrival and the Kota Kinabalu Studio Store launch mark a major milestone, promising a great experience for riders.
