Axiis is a Portugal-based company specializing in CNC machines. Although less known, Axiis has been in the market for quite some time and is responsible for producing special CNC components for racing machinery, especially supermotos.
However, entering 2022, Axiis has introduced its inaugural motorcycle, named the Liion. Using experience in the supermoto arena, the Axiis Liion is a supermoto type motorcycle powered by an electric engine.
In addition to being developed with CNC components and carbon fibre, this supermoto also comes with a 12kWh battery.
According to Axiis, the Liion offers 134hp and 720Nm and is capable of recording maximum speeds of up to 200km/h.
The combination of CNC and carbon fibre components including the use of a ‘single-sided’ aluminium swingarm also saw this supermoto weigh only 134 kilograms.
However, for now, this electric supermoto is still in the final stages of development and is not ready yet for circuit or road testing. However, the firm expects Liion to enter the market around early 2023.
