Hakim Danish, winner of SIC MiniGP Championship Season 1 sets another milestone as he will make his inaugural debut in the European Talent Cup (ETC) on 13 June 2021 at Barcelona-Cataluña with Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team alongside Sharul Ezwan as his teammate.

The young rider has shown outstanding performance at Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) in Qatar where he secured three podiums. Following the success, Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team has now extended the invitation and opportunity for Hakim Danish to race in ETC based on his exceptional performance and sterling effort.

To date, there are four Malaysian talents competing in FIM CEV Repsol Championship; Adam Norrodin in Moto2 European Championship, Syarifuddin Azman in Moto3 World Junior Championship, Sharul Ezwan and Hakim Danish in ETC. Both Sharul Ezwan and Hakim Danish are also competing in IATC.

AZHAN SHAFRIMAN HANIF – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF SIC

”We are delighted to see his progress so far especially in the first few rounds in IATC. The hard work, determination, and commitment shown by Danish are quite remarkable. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and Motorsports Association of Malaysia for their continuous support of our talent development program.”

Zulfahmi Khairuddin- TEAM MANAGER OF SIC RACING

“I am very grateful that Hakim Danish gets this opportunity to participate in the ETC. I would like to thank IntactGP and SIC for making this happen. Danish is a talented rider. He secured three podiums in his first-year appearance in IATC. ETC is a good platform for him to gain some experience racing against the best European riders at the European circuits. We’re confident that he can finish the race well and make us proud as a Malaysian.”

HAKIM DANISH – LIQUIMOLY INTACT SIC RACING ETC RIDER

“I am blessed and excited to race in ETC. Looking forward to competing with European talents together with my teammate, Sharul Ezwan. I would like to express my appreciation to all my sponsors, especially IntactGP and SIC. I’m pretty sure I will gain valuable experiences with this amazing opportunity. Thank you!”
