[Hot] Suzuki Belang R150 Fi is coming to Malaysia?

[Hot] Suzuki Belang R150 Fi is coming to Malaysia?

The latest post on Suzuki Malaysia’s Facebook page suggests the Suzuki Belang R150 might make a return to the Malaysian market with the new 2020 Suzuki Belang R150 Fi.

A few weeks back we reported on the return of Suzuki Malaysia. In case you didn’t catch the news Suzuki withdrew from the Malaysian market a few years back. However, recent Facebook posts by Suzuki Malaysia confirmed the Japanese manufacturer is making a return this year with a launch of few exciting bikes.

Although we couldn’t confirm the exact model, we reported one of the bikes that Suzuki Malaysia is planning on launching first is a bike from Suzuki’s GSX R model lineup.

Coming back to today’s topic, the most recent post by Suzuki Malaysia suggests the next bike on the list is the “Suzuki Belang R150 Fi”.

With the caption “Guess what model coming to town?” and the slogan ” King is back”, the post features the front end of a bike which matches the profile of the 2020 Suzuki Satria F150 Fi /Raider R150 Fi from our neighbours.

Side note: Suzuki Satria/ Raider was named as the Belang R150 in Malaysia before Suzuki withdrew from the Malaysian market.

So what we can conclude from this is that the 2nd model Suzuki Malaysia is planning on unveiling is the Suzuki Belang R150 Fi!

Yes, one might say the headlamp looks very similar to the Suzuki GSX-Bandit 150. However, if you look closely, you can clearly see the front cowl on the teaser isn’t the same one as the Bandit. So we think the Suzuki GSX-Bandit 150 isn’t the one on the list (for now at least) but if Bleang makes a return, we believe Suzuki Malaysia would soon roll out the Suzuki GSX-Bandit 150!
