Triumph launches Ace and Diamond editions of the Bonneville

Triumph launches Ace and Diamond editions of the Bonneville

The iconic Triumph Bonneville celebrates its 60th Anniversary and the Hinckley factory celebrates with the launch of the Ace and Diamond limited editions.

Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace Diamond has become one of the most iconic models in the motorcycle industry. The 1959 Bonneville is one of Triumph’s best bikes ever made. This year, the “Bonnie” celebrates its 60th Anniversary, and Triumph launches two limited editions: The Ace and the Diamond.

These two limited edition bikes will fast become a collector’s item. Triumph says only 1400 units of the Bonneville T120 Ace will be built. As for the Bonneville T120 Diamond edition, there are only 900 units for the whole world!

But what do these Bonneville’s have to make them so special?

Based on the T120 Black that we already know, the Ace is a homage to the original café racers. In England, the famous Ace Cafe London is the place to go with this kind of bikes. So, Triumph joined forces with Ace Cafe for this limited edition T120 Ace.

It comes with specific matte Storm Grey paint job. On the fuel tank, there’s an Ace Cafe logo, besides getting fitted with blacked out parts. Keeping the café race theme, Triumph fits the Bonneville T120 Ace with a minimal fender kit, bullet indicators, and specific logos.

Each bike comes with its own numbered certificate, signed by Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor. The certificate also comes signed by Mark Wilsmore, managing director of Ace Cafe London.

As for the Bonneville T120 Diamond, this version gets a bit more chrome parts. A classic vision of what a Bonneville should be. Triumph fits the T120 Diamond with an exclusive paint job Snowdonia White and Aluminium Silver. The fuel tank also gets the “union flag” graphics. As expected, each Diamond comes with a numbered certificate signed by Nick Bloor.

The technical specs of the Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace Diamond are the same as the base T120 and T120 Black.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
