WiPEY – a genius small gadget that we love!

WiPEY – a genius small gadget that we love!

A Slovenian company decided to create a small but very interesting gadget that will help us ride on rainy days. Meet WiPEY.

Do you know those rainy days that you really need to ride your motorcycle? You try to see through the visor of your helmet. But you don’t really see much in front of you. Drops of water and a foggy visor are a big problem when riding in the rain.

But now there’s a new gadget that will help us ride in the rain without so many problems!

WiPEY is the idea of a Slovenian company that decided that rain shouldn’t be a problem for us. They’ve come up with an electric powered wiper, with rechargeable batteries included.

The WiPEY has different operating modes:

– If you quick press it, WiPEY swipes only once and then stops.

– If you long press it, WiPEY is turned ON (it wipes continuously).

– When WiPEY is turned on each additional press of the button changes wipe interval. Intervals can be 1, 3 or 6 seconds long.

– WiPEY can be turned OFF by long press* the button again.

The Slovenian company says the gadget doesn’t cause aerodynamic interference and is very light.

WiPEY will make riding in the rain much safer as our line of vision is clearer. To make things even safer, the company has created a Bluetooth remote to fit the handlebar of the bike. This will allow operating WiPEY without taking your hand off the handlebar.

For more information on WiPEY please visit www.wipey.com.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
