Royal Enfield has reportedly made sales of more than 70,000 motorcycles in January 2019. The firm dispatched 72,701 bikes in the domestic and international markets despite the fact that growth over the same month a year ago decreased by 7 per cent. Royal Enfield managed to cap sales of 70,872 motorcycles in January and sold 1,829 bikes internationally. Domestically, there was a decline as last year the firm sold 76,205 bikes whereas internationally, there was an improvement compared to the 1,673 bikes sold last year. The firm is set to improve international sales with the launch of its new 650 Twins in global markets. The models have been released in the US, Europe and South East Asian markets. Sales are expected to pick up in March 2019. The two latest models, namely the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 will be a platform for the firm to expand their sales, considering the growing attention it has garnered since the news came out.
