Suzuki has announced during the AIMExpo that it will continue to support a diverse line of motorcycles, focusing on high profile models and to introduce smaller bikes for urban comfort.
Suzuki Motor Corp. in Great Britain also revealed that the brand will be introducing a concept SV650X, which is an evolution of the SV650 Rally concept later this call in Tokyo Motor Show.
“The original concept was designed to pay homage to the tarmac rally cars and bikes of the 1970s,” Suzuki stated.
“’Neo-retro’ design sees the SV650X get a newly styled bikini fairing and tinted screen, fog lamps, clip-on handlebars with a tuck roll – already available as a genuine accessory on the SV650 – completing the look.”
“The company remains committed to our championship caliber models like the GSX-R1000 and RM-Z450, plus iconic models like the Hayabusa and M109R. But we are also offering a great deal of model and style to draw new riders to Suzuki dealerships,” said Suzuki Motor America Inc. (SMAI) Press Relations Manager Avery Innis.
SMAI will also be coming up with a broad product line in the standard, sportbike and cruiser lines.
“New, younger riders may select a certain bike with multiple missions in mind,” added Innis.
