A New Era of Racing
“The launch of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup signals a bold new era for Harley-Davidson and for the sport of motorcycle racing,” said Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Harley-Davidson. “This series is about pushing limits – of our machines, our riders, and our brand – on a global stage. We’re proud to partner with MotoGP to bring this vision to life.”
The championship represents not just a new racing category, but also a cultural crossover that combines Harley-Davidson’s American touring heritage with the global prestige of MotoGP.
Carlos Ezpeleta, Chief Sporting Officer of MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports, highlighted the significance of the collaboration:
“We’re always looking for ways to innovate and expand – both at the track for our record crowds and to grow the reach of the sport even further. The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup fulfills the brief. It will be a fantastic addition to race weekends while connecting our sport to one of the most iconic lifestyle and cultural brands in North America – and the world.”

As preparations begin, organisers are inviting teams, riders, and sponsors to join the series ahead of its 2026 debut. The championship promises to add a new dimension to MotoGP weekends. Fans can expect an entirely different style of racing while strengthening Harley-Davidson’s performance legacy on the international stage.
