Malaysian rider Hakim Danish heads into Round 4 of the FIM JuniorGP at Motorland Aragón ready to fight for a podium finish, with three rounds left in the 2025 season.

The fourth round of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship roars to life this weekend at the challenging Motorland Aragón circuit. Stretching 5.08 kilometres with 17 corners and a long 968-metre straight, the Spanish track is a firm favourite among riders and often plays host to world-class racing action.

Malaysian rider Hakim Danish heads into the weekend sixth in the championship standings with 38 points, trailing current leader Brian Uriarte by 45. With three rounds still to go, the season remains wide open, and Hakim is ready to make his presence felt.

Prepared and Focused

Hakim has a strong history at Aragón. Just two weeks ago, he completed a private test session here, putting in valuable laps to fine-tune his pace and setup. The familiarity with the circuit, combined with positive past performances, gives him added confidence going into race week.

“This weekend, I’m determined to fight at the front group, especially in Race 1 and Race 2,” Hakim states. “The test at this circuit went quite well, and I managed to complete many laps. I’m really looking forward to the races, and I hope everyone continues to support and pray for me.”

Aiming for the Podium

Team manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin is optimistic about Hakim’s chances, especially given the rider’s recent success at the same venue during the Red Bull Rookies Cup — where he finished second in one race and took victory in another.

“This is one of Hakim’s favourite tracks. He’s had great results here in the past, and even won here last year,” says Zulfahmi. “While FIM JuniorGP is a different championship, that experience definitely helps. Our goal this weekend is clear — we want him back on the podium.”

Zulfahmi also pointed out the added challenge Hakim faces as a solo rider in his team, unlike other competitors who can rely on teammate data for setup comparisons. Despite this, the team is confident in Hakim’s ability to deliver.

“In this championship, there’s more flexibility in adjusting the bike compared to RBRC. That gives us a better chance to tailor the setup to Hakim’s style. We believe he has what it takes to be in the front group.”

Final Stretch at Aragón

With just three rounds remaining, every race becomes critical. Hakim’s determination, track familiarity, and recent momentum set the stage for an exciting weekend at Aragón and possibly, a return to the podium.
