Boon Siew Honda Malaysia has officially launched the highly anticipated 2025 Honda CB750 Hornet, a sleek and aggressive middleweight streetfighter designed for thrill-seekers and daily riders alike. Priced at RM49,999 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), the CB750 Hornet enters the local market ready to challenge rivals like the Suzuki GSX-8S.

Offered in two bold colours, Matte Pearl Glare White and Glint Wave Blue Metallic, the new Hornet combines Honda’s sharp design DNA with performance-focused features to suit a wide range of riders.

At its core is a 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank, delivering a punchy 90hp at 9,500rpm and 74.4Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The powerplant is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch.

Riders can choose from four riding modes, Sport, Standard, Rain, and User, with full control over traction (HSTC), wheelie control, and engine braking. All systems are finely tuned to offer balance between aggression and safety, making it suitable for both twisty road fun and city commutes.

On the chassis side, Honda claims the new suspension setting to improve agility and front-end feedback for a sportier, more responsive ride. It comes with Showa SFF-BP 41mm USD forks and a rear monoshock with Honda Pro-Link suspension deliver solid handling, although only the rear preload is adjustable.

Meanwhile, braking duties are handled by dual front 296mm discs with radial-mount four-piston Nissin calipers, while the rear features a 240mm disc with single-piston calipers. Dual-channel ABS comes standard.

Rolling on 17-inch wheels with 120/70 (front) and 160/60 (rear) tyres, the CB750 Hornet promises agile handling and confident cornering. Tech-savvy riders will appreciate the 5-inch TFT-LCD dash, complete with four selectable display themes. Smartphone connectivity is built-in via Honda Smartphone Voice Control and the Honda RoadSync app, allowing easy access to navigation, calls, messages, and music.

With its aggressive styling, rider-focused electronics, and Honda’s trusted engineering, the 2025 CB750 Hornet looks set to become a serious contender in the middleweight naked bike segment in Malaysia.
