Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. has officially introduced two stylish new colour options for the popular Honda Rebel 500 cruiser in Malaysia. Starting today, riders can get their hands on the Rebel 500 in Pearl Sugarcane Beige and Matte Dim Grey Metallic, both available at all authorised Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide.

Despite the colour refresh, the price remains unchanged at RM33,899 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), making the Rebel 500 an even more attractive option for cruiser enthusiasts. Each purchase is backed by a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first.

Mechanically, the Honda Rebel 500 remains the same trusted machine. It features a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with PGM-Fi fuel injection, producing 45.59 hp at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch, delivering smooth torque and accessible power throughout the rev range.

Suspension duties are handled by non-adjustable telescopic front forks, while the rear features Showa dual shock absorbers with nitrogen reservoirs and preload adjustability. Stopping power comes from single hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, supported by standard dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

Rolling on 16-inch alloy wheels, the Rebel 500 is fitted with 130/90 front and 150/80 rear tyres, offering a planted, stable ride. With a low seat height of 690mm and kerb weight of 190kg, the bike remains extremely approachable for new riders and comfortable for longer journeys.

Other notable features include full LED lighting throughout, and a 100mm round LCD negative backlight display that clearly shows essential riding information, including gear position and fuel consumption.

With its bold new colours and proven performance package, the 2025 Honda Rebel 500 continues to blend classic cruiser styling with modern functionality, a perfect match for riders seeking style, comfort, and confidence on two wheels.
