Adding to the excitement at the 2024 Petronas Malaysia MotoGP, Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional (Modenas), a subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Berhad, unveiled the 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500, an entry into Malaysia’s cruiser motorcycle scene.

This new model caters to riders seeking a blend of classic style and modern performance, offering a unique option for those who see motorcycling as more than just a mode of transportation but as a lifestyle.

The Eliminator 500 embodies Kawasaki’s signature blend of power and comfort. It pairs the timeless silhouette of a cruiser with the proven performance of a Ninja 500 engine, striking a balance between laid-back cruising and spirited riding.

Under the hood, the bike is powered by a liquid-cooled, 451 cc parallel-twin DOHC engine with eight valves, producing 45.4 PS at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This power is managed through a six-speed gearbox with a chain final drive.

Braking comes from single-disc brakes on both ends, featuring a 310 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, each equipped with dual-piston callipers. The front suspension comprises non-adjustable telescopic forks, while the rear features twin shock absorbers that are preload adjustable.

The Eliminator 500 rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel, fitted with 130/70 and 150/80 tyres, respectively. With a 13-litre fuel tank, it weighs in at 176 kg, and its 735 mm seat height ensures an accessible and comfortable ride.

Available in two colours, Pearl Robotic White and Metallic Spark Black—the Eliminator 500 goes on sale at Kawasaki showrooms starting November 3, 2024. Priced at RM30,100 excluding road tax, insurance, and registration.

The Eliminator 500 is designed with a low seat height that promotes rider comfort and confidence, making it an appealing option for both new and seasoned riders.

Modenas highlights this model as a motorcycle that embodies freedom and individuality, merging cruiser aesthetics with an edge that stands out.
