The BMW GS Adventure series rose to fame for its robust design, advanced technology, and impressive off-road capabilities, making it one of the most popular choices among adventure touring enthusiasts.
Entering 2024, BMW’s highly-anticipated R 1300 GS has higher power and reduced weight. On top of that, the bike comes with a new set of suspension, frame and radar.
The GS Adventure is a sentiment of how it is the king of adventure bikes as it never disappoints.
The 2024 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure features a rugged and aggressive design, with a focus on durability and versatility. With a powerful engine and a larger displacement than its predecessor, the R 1300 GS provides ample torque and horsepower for both on-road cruising and off-road adventures.
The 2024 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure features a 1,300cc displacement that generates 145 hp at 7,750 and 110 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,500. The bigger bore area houses larger valves – 44mm intake and 35.6mm exhaust and new cams.
According to BMW, between 3,600 and 7,800 rpm, there is a minimum of 96 lb.-ft. of torque available.
BMW GS Adventure bikes are equipped with advanced suspension systems and sturdy chassis designed to handle rough terrains. The R 1300 GS comes with a new EVO Telelever at the front and a new rear EVO paralever suspension.
BMW motorcycles are known for their cutting-edge technology, and the 2024 R 1300 GS Adventure incorporates the latest advancements. The bike comes with four standard riding modes to tailor for different conditions, namely Rain, Road, Eco and Enduro. The optional Riding Modes Pro package features three additional modes: Dynamic, Dynamic Pro, and Enduro Pro.
Comfort is crucial for long-distance touring, and BMW GS Adventure bikes typically come with rider-friendly ergonomics. The ergonomic triangle of the R 1300 GS allows riders to find the optimal riding position for their comfort.
We can expect the bikes to arrive at dealerships in early 2024. The price of the bike is at a base price of $18,895 (RM 88,910.42). The packages available are the Premium Package at $3,895 (RM 18327.92), Comfort Package at $575 (RM 2705.66) and the Enduro Package Pro at $695 (RM 3270.32).
Not to mention, there are three variants available for this mode. The Triple Black comes with a price tag of $975 (RM 4587.86), the same as the GS Trophy. On the other hand, the Option 719 Tramuntana is at $3,195 (RM 15034.07)
