Honda Vietnam has introduced the new Honda Winner X Sports (2023) with an updated decal graphic design, and new colour schemes.

This new variant is available at a price of 50.56 million dong (RM9,310), which is the same as the old variant. It is also more affordable than the Yamaha Exciter which is at 52.49 million dong (RM9,660).

The most significant changes Honda Winner X Sports (2023) are the white strip on the body decal instead of just red on the old model. The changes made the appearance of the Honda Winner X Sport more prominent and attractive.

The 17-inch rims are in the same copper colour as the Yamaha Exciter 155 60th Anniversary. Honda rolled out the model to celebrate the manufacturer’s participation in the MotoGP World Championship.

The mechanical aspects of the bike remain the same. It still features a 4-stroke single-cylinder 150cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine with PGM-FI fuel injection technology. It is capable of generating 15.4hp @ 9,000rpm and 13,5Nm @ 6,500rpm torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

It features a single petal disc brake system at the front, and a petal-mounted disc at the rear. The saddle height is 795mm, with a ground clearance of 151mm. The bike caps a curb weight of 155kg. The petrol tank capacity is 4.5 litres.

With a small engine and no variable valve technology, this supermoped is a tough competitor of the Yamaha Exciter 155. The latter produces horspower and torque of 17.7hp, 14.4Nm respectively.

Honda Vietnam currently offers the Honda Winner X in three variants. The variants are Standard, Special and Sports, at prices starting at 46.16 million dong (RM8,495).

The Honda Winner X is also able to attract the interest of buyers with the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) feature in the front offered on the Special and Sport variants.

Interestingly, the Honda Winner X is sold below the suggested market price. This is unlike the Yamaha Exciter 155 which is on average more expensive than the suggested price.
