At the end of March the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has already introduced its latest machine, the 450SR for the global market. The motorcycle, developed from the SR-C21 prototype model is a brand new ‘sportsbike’ segment machine introduced by CFMoto.
Joining the bandwagon, CFMoto Malaysia has informed that the model will be launched in Malaysia on October 22 in conjunction with MotoGP Malaysia.
The Malaysian GP is certainly the most suitable platform for the launch of the model involved. It accentuates the fact that CFMoto has a team in the Moto3 class.
This indirectly means that the 450SR will join the 250SR that was launched earlier.
The CFMoto 450SR is a sportsbike equipped with a 449cc parallel-twin engine with a ‘270-degree crank’ capable of producing 50hp and 39Nm. It figures places the CFMoto 450SR as the main competitor of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 (49hp) and KTM RC390 (44hp).
Apart from the powerful engine, the model also comes with a sporty and aggressive design. It comes with the ‘winglet’ feature found on the previous SR-C21 prototype model.
CFMOTO also claims that this 450SR is capable of recording a maximum speed of 190km/h.
