The Italian-Chinese motorcycle brand, Benelli, has already revealed the TNT 899 2022 model revealed through the company’s official website. However, what is surprising is that the TNT 899 model looks the same as the first-generation model that was introduced from 2008 to 2016.

Among those maintained are the design of the body panels, the shape of the tank, the seat, the design of the lights and the back.

Meanwhile, the TNT 899 is still powered by a three-cylinder 12-valve engine that generates 118hp at 10,000rpm and 88Nm at 8,000rpm. But compared to the previous model which was powered by an 899cc engine, this 2022 model uses an 898cc engine.

Looking at the information on the Benelli website, the TNT 899 is also 5kg lighter (210kg) than the previous model. However, with a 15.5L tank, the sudden increase in weight will be felt as soon as you fill up.

This TNT 899 2022 is equipped with a USD 50mm telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the back with adjustable preload and rebound. The front and rear tires are matched with 17″ rims with 120/70 (front) and 190/50 (rear). The distance between the tires is set at 1,440mm.

According to sources, the dimensions of the new Benelli TNT 899 are placed at 2080mm (length), 815mm (width) with the seat height at 820mm.

Based on the photos obtained, it is clear that Benelli has upgraded the brake system with the use of Brembo Stylema callipers which are the highest specification for road bikes. A dual-channel ABS system also comes as standard alongside an all-new TFT screen display.

Benelli also maintains the engine cooling system on the right side of the engine like the previous generation. Among other minor upgrades implemented is the presence of front LED lights with DRL (daytime running light) at the front and rear.
