Tossa R transforms this BMW K100RS into a Bond-bike

Tossa R transforms this BMW K100RS into a Bond-bike

Forget the Aston Martin, would James Bond take this custom BMW K1000RS on a ride?

The Covid-19 pandemic has certainly affected a lot of people both in the commercial sector and the private lives of many. Recently, it has been brought to our attention that the release of the new James Bond flick ‘No Time to Die’, has been postponed to November 2020. Fans all over the world have expressed their disappointment but also exerted empathy and a great level of understanding. In the midst of the waiting game for the movie release, readers can relish on this custom BMW K100RS by Tossa R- the James Bond of custom bikes.

According to Tossa R’s owner, Tudor Dunev, the training and preparation of custom motorcycle building garnered its inspiration from a splendid four-wheeled motorsports career including drift and rally cars.

This Bulgarian racer has accumulated an array of trophies from various championships. Such include a VW Lupo Cup championship, five consecutive Bulgarian Touring Car championship titles, the title of 2010 European Drift King, and the 2019 Bulgarian Eco Rally. Years of being in the game have provided Tudor with a set of skills in order to run a successful customs shop with quality craftsmanship.

Tudor’s operations come in two separate divisions, including Top Drift Services and Tossa R. The former deals with repairs, tunes, and preps drift and race cars. The latter, on the other hand, focuses on custom motorcycles.

The shop has successfully worked with a variety of BMW-based bikes. This time, Tossa R has gotten its hands on a K100RS through a donor.

According to Pipeburn, Tossa gave the bike a complete engine rebuild. By tearing the lump apart, it has replaced it with new items such as gaskets and seals throughout. The team then covered the engine’s exterior with a coat of black paint.  As for the stock respiratory bits, the K100RS now comes with a cruiser-style pod filter. This hangs on a custom extension piece. It also includes a bespoke set of four-into-one pipes feeding back into a carbon fibre muffler on the right side from underneath the single-sided swing-arm.

Much work has been done to the rider’s seat, including a custom subframe which provides support for it. The swing-arm has also been reinforced with a new supplementary tubular structure. This links to a non-offset modern, adjustable mono-shock arrangement. Riders can now experience a more attack-ready riding position. This is due to the hunched-forward triangle from the new clip=ons and adjustable rear-sets.

The highlight of the bike is certainly its paint scheme. Most of the parts of the bike are coated in gloss black. The knee dent areas are metallic grey and the black areas are topped off the gold accent stripes. The gold “007” script is seen at the front-end of the bike, which adds a real flare to its vibe.

Shaken, not stirred. It is certainly ‘no time to die’ but Tossa R brings life and excitement to Bavarian motorcycles.
