Heads up! Kawasaki has launched two of its newest off-road motorcycles in India, namely the KX450F and the KX450R. The brand has certainly expanded its share in the market.
According to Yutaka Yamashita, the Managing Director of Kawasaki India, India seems to be the perfect place to expand their business considering the large usage of motorcycles compared to other countries.
The two new bikes will be delivering absolute good quality in terms of performance and is more practical for adventure usage.
The KX450F is the lightest bike in the segment with a weight of 108kgs. This is due to the reduction in weight of the engine and the chassis. It is powered by a 450cc engine with fuel injection technology and features a 5-speed transmission gearbox. It also has a 270mm petal disc brake at the front and 240mm petal unit at the rear.
As for its counterpart KX450R, it has a 449cc single cylinder engine with a carburetor fuel delivery system. It also has the same 5-speed gearbox. It weights 126kgs and has a 250mm front petal disc brake and 240mm rear wheel unit.
