New motorcycles, racing technology and emerging brands will take centre stage at CIMAMotor 2026, taking place from 19 to 22 September at the Chongqing International Expo Center.
For international motorcycle professionals, this year’s exhibition will offer a closer look at products from established international manufacturers and Chinese brands, covering segments such as sportbikes, adventure motorcycles, scooters, cruisers and off-road machines.
ZXMOTO Brings Racing Technology to CIMAMotor
One of the brands attracting international attention is Zhangxue Motorcycle (ZXMOTO), a relatively new Chinese manufacturer that has entered the World Superbike Championship (WSBK).
Its 820RR-RS race motorcycle has already recorded race wins during the 2026 WorldSSP season. At CIMAMotor 2026, ZXMOTO will showcase the limited-edition 820RR-RS alongside several production models.
Making their debut at the exhibition are the 820X three-cylinder adventure motorcycle and 600V V-twin cruiser, while the electronic-throttle 500F, 450 Rally and MX450 will also be displayed.
ZXMOTO will also highlight technologies including an electronic clutch, electronic suspension and millimetre-wave radar, offering visitors a look at the manufacturer’s current development direction.
More Chinese Brands Showcase New Models
Beyond ZXMOTO, several other Chinese manufacturers will present new motorcycles and technologies across different segments. CYCLONE will showcase models such as the AQS250, RT250 and RT5, featuring its FEELFUN intelligent system and technologies including millimetre-wave radar.
Meanwhile, ZONSEN Motorcycle will present its Chaoxi range of small-displacement lifestyle models, including the MI family, Little Bear and Cube.
Honda, Moto Morini and ARIIC Join the Line-Up
International manufacturers will also be part of the CIMAMotor 2026 line-up. Honda will bring motorcycles covering touring, street, sport, adventure, cruiser and crossover categories. The Japanese manufacturer will also demonstrate its E-Clutch electronic clutch and Throttle By Wire (TBW) technologies.
Visitors will also have access to a dedicated outdoor test-ride area, where selected motorcycles and technologies can be experienced first-hand.
Moto Morini will introduce several models, including the 3½, RUMBLE, 750 CORSARO family and 300 KANGURO, covering classic, cruiser, sport and adventure categories.
Another highlight will be the ARIIC 318GT-S, a 369cc flagship scooter designed with touring in mind. The model comes with electronic features including ABS, traction control, a 7-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, navigation and tyre-pressure monitoring.
A Look at China’s Evolving Motorcycle Industry
Together, the motorcycles and technologies on display provide a glimpse into the direction of China’s rapidly developing motorcycle industry, from larger-displacement performance and adventure motorcycles to intelligent electronic systems and new urban mobility products.
For international visitors, CIMAMotor 2026 will provide an opportunity to see these motorcycles first-hand, meet manufacturers and explore the latest models and technologies emerging from one of the world’s largest motorcycle markets.
