The country’s young sensational racer, Hakim Danish Ramli, is determined to continue the positive momentum when he returns to action at the French Grand Prix (GP) at the Le Mans Circuit, in conjunction with Round 5 of the MotoGP this weekend.
Representing the AEON Credit MT-Helmets-MSI team, Hakim Danish is currently in 15th place overall with 12 points. After successfully collecting three valuable points at the Spanish GP in Jerez, he is now setting his sights higher to improve his position in the championship standings.

Le Mans experience is an important advantage
The Le Mans circuit is no stranger to the Terengganu-born rider. Last year, Hakim Danish stole the show in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at the same circuit, giving him an advantage in terms of experience and confidence.
However, Hakim Danish is aware that the challenges in the Moto3 class are much more competitive than previous races. Therefore, he needs to come out with better preparations to compete with the leading group.

Focus on technical aspects and racing strategy
Apart from the fierce competition, the unpredictable weather conditions and the technical nature of the Le Mans Circuit are expected to be the main challenges. Therefore, the main focus is now on efforts to refine the machine setup and race strategy to ensure more consistent performance.
Hakim Danish also expressed his confidence in using past experience as an advantage in pursuing better decisions.
“Going into Round 5 at Le Mans, it’s one of my favourite circuits. I have experience racing here in the Red Bull Rookies Cup last year, but the challenges are different in Moto3.
“With the positive momentum from the last race, I’m aiming for a better result. I need to start strong from FP1, adapt quickly and stay focused throughout the race,” said Hakim Danish.

Full team support for maximum performance
Meanwhile, SIC Racing Team Manager, Zulfahmi Khairuddin, emphasized that the team will provide full support to ensure that Hakim Danish can perform at his best at Le Mans.
“Le Mans is always challenging, especially with the weather and the technical nature of the track. Our focus is to continue the positive development of Danish as he did in Jerez.”
The team will ensure the machine is at its best and help Danish to adapt as soon as possible. In Moto3, every detail is very important because the performance gap is very small.
“With the experience and momentum we have gained, we believe Danish will be more competitive and have a better chance of achieving a better outcome,” Zulfahmi explained.
With thorough preparation and growing confidence, Hakim Danish is now seen as having the potential to challenge the front group and thus look for the opportunity to finish the race in the world’s top 10 at Le Mans.
