Suzuki has revealed a special Katana Limited Edition exclusively for the German market, with production limited to just 45 units worldwide.

Based on the standard Suzuki Katana, the limited edition features several cosmetic upgrades and select performance enhancements that celebrate the iconic heritage of the Katana name.

The Katana’s distinctive styling remains a central highlight, with its sharp, streamlined silhouette, signature V-shaped fuel tank, aggressive front nose and classic silver colour scheme. A unique side panel graphic also features the Japanese character for “katana” pierced by a sword, paying tribute to the legendary motorcycle’s design roots.

To emphasise its exclusivity, each of the 45 units comes with a numbered sticker, along with a black-and-silver decal kit, blacked-out rear fairing, carbon-style tank pad, and frame sliders.

Suzuki has also included several collector-focused extras for buyers. Along with the motorcycle, owners will receive a black garage mat featuring the Katana logo and a copy of the book Katana History, which documents the evolution of the model over more than four decades.

In terms of performance, the only mechanical upgrade comes from a special Akrapovič slip-on exhaust system developed specifically for the Katana Limited Edition. Aside from this addition, the rest of the motorcycle remains mechanically identical to the standard model.

The bike continues to be powered by a 999cc inline-four engine derived from the Suzuki GSX‑R1000 K5 platform, producing 152 hp and 106 Nm of torque. In the Katana, the engine is tuned to deliver stronger mid-range performance rather than focusing solely on top-end power.

The electronics package includes ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes, Suzuki’s five-level traction control system (STCS), and a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

The chassis setup remains unchanged, featuring an aluminium frame paired with KYB suspension, while braking is handled by Brembo components with radially mounted calipers. The motorcycle also comes with an LCD instrument display and full LED lighting system.

Suzuki confirmed that the Katana Limited Edition is now available through dealers in Germany, priced at €15,045 (approximately RM68,856) before on-road costs.

With production capped at only 45 units, the exclusive Katana variant is expected to become a sought-after collector’s model among enthusiasts of the iconic Japanese machine.
