Ducati has recently revealed its latest flagship model, the Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario, created to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary.

Unveiled at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) for the 3rd MotoGP championship round, the Centenario represents the fourth model in Ducati’s exclusive “Superleggera” series, based on the Panigale platform. Production is limited to just 500 units worldwide, making it one of the most exclusive Ducatis ever built.

Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario

Lightweight, Powerful and Track-Focused

At the heart of the Superleggera V4 Centenario is a new Desmosedici Stradale R 1100 V4 engine, producing 225 bhp in road-legal Euro5+ configuration. With the optional racing kit installed, output increases to over 247 bhp, further enhancing its track potential.

Weight is a key highlight. The bike tips the scales at just 173 kg (wet, without fuel) in road trim, dropping to 167 kg in track configuration, making it one of the lightest production superbikes ever developed by Ducati.

This is achieved through extensive use of carbon fibre, with the frame, swingarm, subframe and wheels all constructed using techniques derived from MotoGP and Formula 1.

Advanced Chassis and Braking Technology

One of the standout features is its braking system, which uses road-legal carbon-ceramic discs developed by Brembo. These discs offer improved thermal stability and reduced weight compared to conventional steel units, contributing to better handling and braking consistency.

The system is paired with Brembo GP4-HY monoblock calipers, designed to deliver strong and consistent braking performance even under extreme conditions.

Exclusive Package for Owners

Each unit of the Superleggera V4 Centenario is delivered with a premium package that includes a custom wooden crate, certificate of authenticity, paddock stands and a dedicated bike cover.

Buyers will also receive a full racing kit featuring an Akrapovič exhaust system, track-focused components and dedicated software. In addition, Ducati offers matching limited-edition riding gear inspired by its MotoGP race livery.

A Showcase of Ducati Engineering

With its combination of lightweight construction, high-performance engineering and limited production, the Superleggera V4 Centenario stands as a statement model for Ducati’s 100-year legacy.

While its exclusivity means it will rarely be seen on public roads, the model highlights the brand’s continued focus on innovation and performance at the highest level of motorcycle engineering.
