Veda Ega Pratama & Zen Mitani
Indonesia’s young sensation Veda Ega Pratama will finally make his long-awaited step into the Moto3 World Championship. After finishing second behind Brian Uriarte in this year’s Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, the 16-year-old turning 17 in November, is now eligible for Grand Prix entry despite not meeting the usual 18-year age requirement, all thanks to his Rookies Cup ranking.
It comes as little surprise that Veda is moving up. Backed by the Astra Honda Racing Team in Indonesia, the teenager has been on a clear upward trajectory. According to Sky Sport Italy, Veda is set to join Honda Team Asia for the 2026 season.
Alongside him is Japanese talent Zen Mitani, the 2024 Asia Talent Cup Champion. Mitani wrapped up the 2025 Rookies Cup season in seventh place and will join Veda in stepping up to the Moto3 paddock next year.
Brian Uriarte & Rico Salmela
The KTM camp is bringing in two of the most exciting names from the Rookies Cup. Newly crowned 2025 champion Brian Uriarte will graduate to Moto3 with Red Bull KTM Ajo, where he will partner with Alvaro Carpe. Meanwhile, Finnish rider Rico Salmela moves to the world championship with Red Bull KTM Tech3, joining Valentin Perrone for 2026.
Both riders will debut on the formidable KTM RC4, a machine that has dominated the 2025 season by winning all 15 races so far, giving both rookies a competitive package from day one.

Hakim Danish
Malaysia’s pride, Hakim Danish Ramli, continues to add new chapters to his inspiring rise. The 18-year-old from Terengganu will make his first full-season Moto3 appearance with the MSi Racing Team in 2026. His promotion comes after an outstanding 2025 campaign in both the FIM JuniorGP World Championship and the Rookies Cup.
Danish claimed multiple podiums and finished third overall in the Rookies Cup, the best-ever result by a Malaysian rider, marking a breakthrough moment for the country’s racing scene. His wildcard success at the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia cemented his reputation and earned him an MSi contract for the next season. He will partner with Ryusei Yamanaka, replacing the departed Angel Piqueras (now in Moto2).

Marco Morelli
Argentinian standout Marco Morelli returns to familiar territory as he joins the CFMOTO Aspar Team for the 2026 Moto3 season. Morelli, who has made occasional Moto3 appearances with BOE and MLav in 2025, closed the Rookies Cup in fifth place and currently sits second in the JuniorGP standings.
His promotion completes a historic lineup for Aspar, which will field four riders who previously trained in the Aspar Junior Team. Morelli will team up with Máximo Quiles in Moto3, while David Alonso and Dani Holgado continue their journey in Moto2.
Since 2018, Morelli has steadily climbed through PreMoto3, the European Talent Cup, Rookies Cup, and JuniorGP. His Moto3 debut earlier this season saw him score points with a 13th-place finish at the Czech Grand Prix, a promising sign for 2026.

Casey O’Gorman
Irish rider Casey O’Gorman also secured a spot on the 2026 Moto3 grid. O’Gorman, who competed in two Grands Prix this year as a substitute for SIC58 Squadra Corse, impressed with a points-scoring ride at Balaton Park.
For 2026, he will race full-time with Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP, marking a significant step after proving his potential in limited opportunities. The 18-year-old has already familiarized himself with the team at two races in 2025, including a strong performance in Hungary.
Now, with all seven former Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup riders stepping up, the 2026 Moto3 season is set to showcase an incredible mix of talent from Asia, Europe, and South America. Each rider brings a strong resume, momentum, and the hunger to fight against the world’s best young racers.
