MotoGP has announced a major leadership change as Chief Commercial Officer Dan Rossomondo will leave his role in January 2026. This marks the end of a transformative three-year tenure at the series’ commercial helm.
Rossomondo joined MotoGP in 2023 with a mandate to modernise the championship’s commercial strategy and reinforce its global brand presence. During that time, he helped shape MotoGP’s refreshed identity and expanded commercial operations. He built a strengthened commercial team aimed at driving long-term growth.
A Key Figure in MotoGP’s Recent Evolution
Under Rossomondo’s oversight, MotoGP pushed forward with new partnerships and digital initiatives. It also ushered fan-engagement strategies designed to position the sport competitively in a rapidly changing entertainment landscape.
