The 2025 FIM JuniorGP World Championship wrapped up its season at Round 7 in Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia, where the final weekend delivered intense battles as riders fought to end their campaigns on a high. Malaysia’s young gun Hakim Danish closed the season with determined performances, securing P9 in Race 1 and P8 in Race 2, finishing 8th overall in the championship.
Hakim began the weekend with a challenging first day. Struggling to find the right bike balance, he finished FP1 in 18th (+1.917s) and FP2 in 15th (+2.714s), as rivals continued to drop their lap times.
The momentum shifted in the Practice session, where Hakim delivered an impressive comeback, placing 3rd overall, just +0.501s from the session leader. His improved pace secured him a spot in Qualifying 2, where he finished 9th, setting him up for a P9 grid start.

In Race 1, Hakim struggled off the start and was unable to latch onto the leading group. Despite this, he kept his composure, made key overtakes mid-race, and crossed the finish line in P9. Hakim began Race 2 with a cleaner launch, but strong pressure from rivals caused him to lose touch with the front pack. He fought within the group battling for P7, eventually finishing in P8.
Reflecting on the season finale, Hakim said: “This week was quite challenging with very strong competition, but I tried to close the gap and showed improvement in every session. I gave my best in every run. I will continue this momentum and work even harder for next season. I finish the 2025 JuniorGP season 8th overall with one podium, and I’m truly grateful to my team and everyone who supported me.”

Zulfahmi Khairudin also shared his thoughts: “Overall, we are not fully satisfied with the results, not because of Danish’s performance, but due to machine-related limitations that prevented us from performing at our best. Still, his participation in JuniorGP has had a major impact on his opportunities next year.”
They extended appreciation to MT MSi for selecting Hakim for the upcoming season, adding that full focus will now shift to preparations for the World Championship. A note of gratitude was also given to SIC Racing, Terengganu Inc, RCB, and all supporting partners throughout the 2025 campaign.
