Suzuki Malaysia has officially launched the all-new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT at the 2025 Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia held at Sepang International Circuit. First revealed globally in July, the new GSX-8 series carries a retro-inspired design paired with modern technology, priced at RM59,600 for the GSX-8T and RM63,600 for the GSX-8TT, excluding insurance.
Both motorcycles share Suzuki’s 776 cc DOHC parallel-twin engine, similar to the GSX-8S and V-Strom 800 delivering 82.9 hp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. Power is sent through a six-speed gearbox and chain drive, while a ride-by-wire throttle enables smooth and responsive control.
Inside the cockpit, riders get a full-colour 5-inch TFT-LCD display with three selectable riding modes: Mode A for sportier response, Mode B for balanced performance, and Mode C for rain or low-traction conditions. Other standard features include a bi-directional quickshifter, three-level traction control, and low-RPM assist for easier starts.
Suspension duties are handled by Kayaba USD forks and rear monoshock, while braking is managed by twin 310 mm front discs and a 240 mm rear disc. Both bikes roll on 17-inch Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres, supported by a 16.5-litre fuel tank and a lightweight lithium-ion battery.
The GSX-8T adopts a cleaner, minimalist roadster style with black wheels and gold fork legs, while the GSX-8TT adds an upper fairing, lower engine protector, and stitched seat upholstery for a more rugged touring appearance. At 203 kg, the 8TT is two kilograms heavier than the 8T.

Available now in Malaysia, the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT mark Suzuki’s continued evolution, combining timeless design with cutting-edge performance for riders who crave both style and substance.
