Ducati North America has officially unveiled the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Supercross and Pro Motocross Team, marking the brand’s historic debut in U.S. off-road racing. The team will make its first appearance at the Anaheim 1 Supercross, ushering in a new era that unites three iconic forces: Ducati, Red Bull, and Troy Lee Designs.

A Union of Icons

This alliance brings together Ducati’s precision engineering, Red Bull’s performance-driven spirit, and Troy Lee Designs’ unmatched creativity. Together, they represent the pinnacle of racing passion and innovation. They are built on a shared belief that competition is not just about winning. It’s about purpose and progress.

The formation of Ducati’s first official off-road factory team underscores the company’s strategic expansion into new racing disciplines. Ducati Corse Off-Road’s entry into Supercross follows years of development with its new Desmo450 MX machine, a motorcycle designed to translate Ducati’s racing DNA from tarmac to dirt.

From Europe to the U.S. Stage

The Desmo450 MX has already proven itself across Europe. Under the guidance of riders Tony Cairoli, Alessandro Lupino, Jeremy Seewer, and Mattia Guadagnini, the machine made its mark in the 2024 World Championship and the Italian MX1 Prestige Championship, where Lupino delivered Ducati’s first motocross title. In 2025, Seewer and Guadagnini expanded Ducati’s campaign to the full MXGP season. Thus, earning multiple podiums and validating the Desmo450 MX’s competitiveness on the world stage.

The 2026 season now brings that momentum to the heart of American Supercross. Ducati aims to establish itself among the sport’s elite manufacturers.

A Reunion of Legends

The partnership also reunites Troy Lee Designs and Red Bull, two names that have shaped the modern identity of Supercross. Their collaboration, which began more than two decades ago, has spanned Supermoto, Motocross, and Supercross. It produced iconic liveries, dominant teams, and a visual style that defined an entire generation of riders.

For Ducati, joining this proven pairing represents not just a racing collaboration but an alignment of culture and vision, performance meeting creativity, and engineering meeting expression.

Racing DNA, Reimagined

For Ducati, racing has never been a sideline activity. It is the brand’s foundation, a philosophy that every motorcycle is born from competition, refined by experience, and engineered to win. The creation of Ducati Corse Off-Road embodies that spirit. It extends its legacy into a new terrain without compromising the essence that defines the brand.

The Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing team will reveal its full rider lineup and custom liveries in the coming weeks. Its debut at Anaheim 1 will mark the start of a new season. It is the beginning of Ducati’s next great racing story: one written in dirt, passion, and precision.
