Some motorcycles have style. Some have speed. This one has both and a racing pedigree to match. Meet the one-off Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 built for Ferrari Formula One driver Charles Leclerc, a machine that blends Scandinavian minimalism, French craftsmanship, and a healthy dose of race-bred attitude.
Commissioned during Leclerc’s breakout 2019 season with Scuderia Ferrari, the bike was crafted by Paris-based custom workshop Bad Winners. Founder Walid had no idea the F1 star was about to slide into his Instagram DMs, but once the sketch phase began, it was full throttle ahead. The brief was simple: keep it ultra-light, keep it fast, and keep it clean.
Brains Before Beauty
The modern Vitpilen 701 isn’t exactly friendly to customisation thanks to its tech-heavy electronics. Rather than hack into the factory wiring, Bad Winners built a custom motherboard that seamlessly talks to the stock ECU. Every factory function stayed intact—ABS, traction control, ride data—while allowing for aftermarket push-button controls and a slick, 3D-modelled speedo tucked neatly into the top triple clamp.

All-Carbon Everything
Weight was enemy number one, so the team went all-in on carbon fibre. Every panel was modelled in CAD or sculpted in 3D before hitting the carbon moulds. A new tube-steel subframe supports a razor-sharp tail section with a CNC-milled red plexiglass taillight, while a compact Antigravity battery hides underneath.
More Bite, More Power
Performance got a serious bump, too. The stock emissions setup and catalytic converter were replaced with a custom stainless fitting and an SC-Project CR-T carbon muffler. A Power Commander V tune unlocked an extra punch, pushing the single-cylinder to a lively 85 hp.

Rolling on Race-Spec Wheels
To keep unsprung weight to a minimum, Bad Winners turned to Dymag for a set of carbon fibre wheels, wrapped in sticky Pirelli rubber. The result? Just 130 kg on the scales, a featherweight street missile perfect for carving Monaco’s hillside roads.
From Monaco Garage to New Home
Now refreshed and ready to go, Leclerc’s custom Husqvarna is hitting the auction block, complete with the original paperwork and proof of ownership in the F1 driver’s name. It’s a rare chance to own a motorcycle that’s not only a design masterpiece, but also carries the provenance of a Formula One rising star.
In the world of two-wheeled collectables, it doesn’t get much more desirable than this.
