Belgian EV brand Trevor Motorcycles has just launched a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to supercharge the production of its highly anticipated model, the DTRe Vince. While production is already confirmed, the campaign aims to scale up faster and meet soaring global demand, particularly in the US and Canada, where type approvals are underway.

This move isn’t just about funding, it’s about building a community. Inspired by a conversation with Cowboy e-bike’s CEO, Trevor co-founder Jeroen-vincent Nagels saw the potential for Crowdcube to become a platform not just for capital, but for momentum. “Crowdcube is more than just a crowdfunding platform; it can also generate a movement around a brand,” he explains.

Meet the DTRe Vince: Minimalist, Muscular, and Emission-Free

The DTRe Vince is Trevor’s answer to riders who want the vibe of a scrambler with none of the noise or emissions. The bike houses a newly developed 11kW electric motor (with peaks of 22kW in the EU and 30kW in the US). The Vince balances clean energy with bold performance. Key specs include:

  • Italian-built lightweight chassis
  • Optimised torque delivery for urban and off-road riding
  • A realistic range of 100 km per charge
  • Whisper-quiet performance with zero emissions

It’s minimalist in design but ambitious in spirit. It is a handcrafted bike made in Belgium for riders who don’t want to compromise thrill for sustainability.

From Local Vision to Global Movement

Since its founding in 2020 by Nagels and Philippe Stella, Trevor Motorcycles has gained cult status in Europe and a growing following in North America. The recent partnership with Pinned Electric now connects the brand to over 200 dealers across the US and Canada. This is an essential step toward a global scale.

And momentum is building fast. Even before the Crowdcube campaign officially launched, Trevor secured a €500,000 lead investment. This is a strong signal of investor confidence and market appetite.

Invest in the Future of Riding

With the Crowdcube campaign now live, Trevor invites both private backers and professional investors from the EU and UK to join their journey. Perks include:

  • Early access to the limited edition DTRe Vince
  • Invitations to test rides and races
  • Exclusive community access and updates

Co-founder Stella sums it up best: “Through Crowdcube, we’re not just expanding our capacity. We’re inviting riders and believers to be part of the movement.”
