Lambretta, the legendary Italian scooter brand known for fusing classic charm with bold modern-retro aesthetics, has launched a striking lineup of new scooters at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025. Taking centre stage are the X300GT (Grand Touring) and G350 Series II, alongside the Malaysian debut of the Elettra electric concept and the stylish J200 ‘Starwave’ edition.

Lambretta X300GT

Grand Touring Redefined: Lambretta X300GT

The all-new Lambretta X300GT blends timeless design with practical touring capabilities. Dressed in a fresh design language, the X300GT arrives equipped with a new seat, a rear luggage rack, and a premium steel side cover featuring the X300 GT Checker Board logo, all of which nod to Lambretta’s storied heritage while gearing up for future journeys.

Signature design elements include a unique front shield, FULL LED lighting, and distinctive hexagonal headlights with the Lambretta logo embedded, paired with tail lights boasting a 7-bar crystal design and IFS (Integrated-Function Signals) for brake, turn, and hazard lights.

Built for comfort and performance, the X300GT uses a Double Arm-Link suspension with 7-level preload adjustability and dual-channel ABS for confident braking. The 275cc Lambretta Super Performance (LSP) engine, paired with modern fuel injection technology, ensures a responsive and refined ride. Riders can also customise the digital experience via a TFT dashboard, featuring smartphone connectivity, five visual themes, and six brightness levels.

Legacy Reinvented: Lambretta G350 Series II

The G350 Series II takes Lambretta’s classic DNA and elevates it with next-gen components and modern styling. Updates include a new side panel embellisher badge, while retaining its iconic G350 emblem and signature design language.

Built with state-of-the-art ABS, the G350 also features double arm-link suspension, balancing heritage design with cutting-edge ride quality. Full LED lighting ensures optimum visibility, with the hexagonal headlight motif continuing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic. The rear lights integrate the Lambretta logo, blending design flair with modern road presence.

A USB charging port inside the glovebox further adds to the model’s convenience, offering functionality for today’s connected riders.

Lambretta Elettra

Glimpse Into Tomorrow: Lambretta Elettra & J200 ‘Starwave’

Lambretta also teased its future direction with a local debut of the Elettra, the brand’s first fully electric scooter, initially revealed at EICMA 2023 in Milan. Showcased as a concept at MAS 2025, Elettra is expected to arrive in Malaysia next year.

Sleek and forward-thinking, the Elettra’s design merges futuristic lines with Lambretta’s historic silhouettes. The integrated handlebar display, streamlined LED rear lighting, and bold front fascia all combine to tell the story of a brand embracing tomorrow without forgetting its roots.

Lambretta J200 ‘Starwave

Lambretta also unveiled the J200 ‘Starwave’, a limited-edition model that expands the brand’s lineup with striking design elements tailored for city riders seeking a bold and distinctive look. Marking 60 years of the J model at EICMA last year, Lambretta introduced the J Starwave, a tribute that honours the original in more than just name.

Inspired by surfing and beach culture, the J Starwave features a unique surfboard-inspired design on the front shield, serving as a customizable decorative piece. The brand also presented a range of personalisation options, such as front stripes and fenders. The scooter’s elongated side panels reflect Lambretta’s timeless design, while its “long and low” profile pays homage to American styling. This aesthetic is enhanced by a sleek, minimalist seat and the brand’s signature hexagonal headlight.
