Trevor Motorcycles has unveiled its second production model, the DTRe Vince—a striking electric scrambler that blends minimalism with real-world performance. Assembled in Belgium and developed in collaboration with Alain Maris Racing (Sint-Niklaas), the DTRe Vince reflects a clear vision: to break free from traditional gas-powered motorcycle design constraints and build something unique for the modern rider.

A Powerful Yet Accessible Ride

The DTRe Vince offers an impressive nominal power of 11 kW and a peak power of 22 kW. This gives it the punchy acceleration electric bikes are known for. Paired with a 5.0 kWh battery, it delivers a real-world range of 100 km. This makes it ideal for both daily commutes and weekend escapes.

Perhaps most notable is Trevor’s move from a chain drive to a Gates belt drive, which brings a smoother, quieter ride. The familiar chain rattle has been replaced by a subtle, satisfying hum. This is perfect for riders who value both performance and peace.

Built for Versatility and Comfort

The DTRe Vince is incredibly lightweight and easy to handle. It is a joy to ride whether you’re cruising through the city or exploring forest trails. The upright seating position and wide handlebars offer superb control and comfort, especially in corners and tight spaces.

Finished in a sleek black livery, the bike carries a rugged, modern aesthetic that pays homage to vintage off-road motorcycles while looking firmly toward the future.

Smart Specs at an Attractive Price

Trevor has managed to keep the starting price under €10,000 (approx. RM52,000) (VAT included). This is a crucial milestone in the increasingly competitive electric motorcycle market. For comparison, high-end electric bicycles and speed pedelecs are now reaching—or surpassing—that price point.

Key specifications:

  • Nominal power: 11 kW
  • Peak power: 22 kW
  • Battery: 5.0 kWh
  • Range: 100 km
  • Drive system: Gates belt
  • Brakes: Nissin
  • Price: From €9,995 (VAT included)

Sure! Here’s a shortened version of that paragraph:

Thanks to its 11 kW output, the DTRe Vince is license-friendly in many European countries. Riders with a car license can often ride it after minimal training—no full motorcycle license needed. It’s a great option for new or casual riders seeking a fun, eco-friendly alternative to cars or scooters.

Designed with Global Appeal

While rooted in Belgium, Trevor Motorcycles is thinking globally. The company has already established a presence in the UK and the US. It comes with modifications (like a rear foot brake) made to comply with American legal requirements. Homologation for the US market is currently in progress, paving the way for broader availability.

A Brand with a Story

Trevor Motorcycles was founded by LA-based artist Philippe Stella and Antwerp motorcycle enthusiast Jeroen-vincent Nagels. The idea sparked in 2018 while riding an old dirt bike in Spain, inspiring them to create a modern electric version.

Their first model, the DTRe Stella, brought a minimalist flat-tracker style to the premium EV market. The DTRe Vince builds on that, offering a more versatile, street-legal ride while keeping its bold character.

Final Thoughts

The DTRe Vince is a confident step forward for Trevor Motorcycles. It’s more than just an electric motorcycle—it’s a lifestyle statement. With its clean design, approachable power, and eco-conscious engineering, it’s aimed squarely at urban riders and weekend explorers looking for a stylish, sustainable, and fun alternative.

As the market continues to evolve, Trevor’s focus on craftsmanship, accessibility, and individuality sets the DTRe Vince apart as one of the most exciting electric two-wheelers to hit the road.
