CFMoto Malaysia Launches the 700MT

CFMoto Malaysia officially introduced its latest adventure touring motorcycle, the CFMoto 700MT, during an event with the media at the Courtyard, Kuala Lumpur on 20th March. Brought in by the official distributor MForce Bike Holdings, the 700MT is designed to cater to riders seeking a versatile and powerful machine for both on-road and off-road adventures.

The CFMoto 700MT is powered by a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a displacement of 693cc, delivering 74 hp at 6,500 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch, ensuring smooth gear shifts and reduced rider fatigue. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a chain final drive, making the 700MT a capable machine for long-distance touring.

The 700MT comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT LCD instrument panel that displays essential riding information. For added convenience, the motorcycle features two USB charging ports (Type-A and Type-C) located on the side of the panel, allowing riders to charge their devices on the go. Owners with a T-Box device can access a range of smart applications through the CFMOTO Ride App, which offers features such as My Ride, live location tracking, and alerts.

The 700MT is built to handle diverse terrains, featuring adjustable 43mm upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, adjustable for preload and rebound. Braking duties are handled by twin brake discs with two-channel ABS as standard, ensuring optimal stopping power and safety. While the ABS cannot be switched off for off-road riding, the traction control system is switchable, providing flexibility for different riding conditions.

Safety is further enhanced with the inclusion of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which ensures optimal tyre conditions at all times. The motorcycle also features an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), which automatically activates hazard lights during emergency braking.

Additional riding conveniences include a manually adjustable windshield, hand guards, a bash plate under the engine, and a radiator guard. The 700MT also features an Upshift Alert, notifying riders when to shift gears for optimal performance, operating from 2,000 rpm to 11,900 rpm.

The 700MT is designed for comfort and versatility, with a seat height of 800mm (a tall seat option is available) and a 20-litre fuel tank, making it ideal for long-distance touring. The motorcycle weighs 218kg and comes with spoked aluminium wheels—19-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear—wearing 110/80 and 150/70 tyres, respectively.

The CFMoto 700MT is priced at RM33,888 (excluding road tax and insurance) and is now available at all authorized CFMoto Malaysia dealers. With every purchase, buyers will enjoy a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and access to genuine spare parts through CFMoto Malaysia’s online platform.
