Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zontes, renowned for its feature-packed small-capacity machines, is preparing to make a bold entry into the high-powered motorcycle segment.

Following the successful launch of the Zontes 368G, the company has announced plans to introduce two new 700cc models in Malaysia, the ZT 703F adventure-tourer and the ZT 703 RR sportbike.

Both motorcycles are slated for their official debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, scheduled for the second quarter of the year. Powered by a 699cc three-cylinder engine, the ZT 703F produces 100hp and 85Nm of torque, while the ZT 703 RR is tuned for 110hp and 75Nm.

Both models share a lightweight aluminium frame and swingarm, a Marzocchi suspension system with upside-down (USD) front forks and a rear monoshock, and high-performance brakes by J.Juan. The six-speed manual gearbox includes a quickshifter for seamless gear changes.

The ZT 703F, designed for adventure touring, features 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, a 22-litre fuel tank, an electronically adjustable windscreen, heated grips, an 845mm seat height, and a blind-spot warning system with radar sensors. Its advanced 6.75-inch TFT display, USB charging port, and keyless ignition system enhance long-distance touring convenience.

In contrast, the ZT 703 RR sportbike boasts 17-inch wheels, clip-on handlebars, an aerodynamic fairing with winglets, LED daytime running lights, and a sporty riding posture. It targets riders seeking aggressive performance and styling, making it a strong competitor to 600cc models like the Aprilia RS 660, Honda CBR650R, and Triumph Daytona 660.

Zontes Malaysia has yet to announce the pricing or exact launch date for these models. However, with their cutting-edge technology and competitive specifications, the ZT 703F and ZT 703 RR are poised to challenge rivals in the adventure segment and mid-range sportbikes in the market.

More details, including retail prices, are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch, promising an exciting addition to Zontes’ expanding lineup in Malaysia.
