CFMoto, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer making a significant mark in the global market, is steadily expanding its footprint across various categories. From small-displacement bikes to adventure touring machines, the company is showcasing its endeavour to dominate the industry.

Among its diverse lineup, the SR series of sport bikes has emerged as a standout favourite. Earlier this year, CFMoto introduced the 675SR-R and 500SR VOOM here in Malaysia.

While the buzz around these models has been strong, the highly anticipated 675SR-R, dubbed as the brand’s most performance-focused middleweight sportbike, has yet to hit the market and remains available for bookings.

Adding to the excitement, CFMoto recently filed a patent in China for an all-new sportbike model named the 750SR-R. Alongside the patent filing, images have been revealed, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of this upcoming machine, which is set to enter the production phase soon.

The 750SR-R will feature a four-cylinder engine, codenamed “472MV,” which indicates a bore size of 72mm. This bore size, paired with a 46mm stroke, mirrors the specifications of legendary sportbikes such as the Yamaha YZF750R and Suzuki GSX-R750 from the mid-1990s.

The engine is currently in the early stages of development and is listed with a power output of 110 bhp. However, it is expected that the final production version will deliver even greater performance. The bike has been stated on the documents with a top speed of 230 km/h and a kerb weight of 213 kg, highlighting its potential as a serious contender in the middleweight segment.

CFMoto has also equipped the 750SR-R with a range of advanced features, including traction control, dual-channel ABS, rear-wheel lift control, and multiple riding modes. The motorcycle will also come fitted with USD forks and Brembo radially-mounted calipers that incorporate brake cooling ducts, similar to those seen on the 675SR-R. It will roll on 120/70-17 front and 180/55-17 rear tyres.

The 750SR incorporate brake cooling ducts same like the 675SR-R.

Visually, the 750SR-R is set to impress with its fully faired, modern, and aggressive design. The bike’s aerodynamic profile is accentuated by larger front wings compared to the 675SR, enhancing both its aesthetics and performance.

One of its most striking features is the 4-into-4 exhaust system, with twin pipes that resemble the setup found on the CFMoto 800NK.

CFMoto’s recent advancements highlight its commitment to making a mark in the global market with cutting-edge, high-performance motorcycles. While details remain limited, it’s likely that the launch of the CFMoto 750SR will take place in the mid of 2025.
