The MotoGP season roars back to life at Silverstone. This race marks the first of 11 events in 16 weeks. The British GP will be unique as all riders wear special vintage liveries. This celebration marks 75 years of Grand Prix motorcycling. The new liveries will be revealed on Thursday before the race on Sunday.
Joan Mir, who recently signed a two-year contract extension with HRC, is keen to stay with the factory team. Mir aims to regain his speed and consistency after a challenging mid-season. Silverstone’s long and fast layout contrasts with the technical Sachsenring, offering a fresh challenge.
In the last GP before the break, Luca Marini earned his first point of the season. Marini’s strong weekend showed his ability to challenge other Honda riders. At Silverstone, Marini hopes to build on this performance. He has scored points in all three of his previous visits to Silverstone, with a best finish of seventh in 2023.
The vintage liveries will be unveiled at 14:00 local time on Thursday, August 1. Don’t miss the chance to see the new looks before the British GP. The 20-lap race starts on Sunday at 13:00 local time. This Silverstone event promises to be a memorable celebration of MotoGP’s rich history.
