Suzuki Malaysia has unveiled its latest offerings in the bustling scooter market with the introduction of the 2024 Suzuki Avenis and Burgmann Street EX. Both scooters promise to cater to the needs of urban commuters with their blend of style, performance, and practicality.

Variants and Pricing

The 2024 Suzuki Avenis comes in three variants: the standard Avenis priced at RM6,980, the Suzuki Avenis GP Edition in Grand Prix colours at RM7,200, and the 2024 Suzuki Burgmann Street EX retailing at RM7,500. These prices are exclusive of road tax, insurance, and registration fees.

Design and Color Options

The Avenis offers three distinct colour options: Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey with Metallic Lush Green, Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black, and the eye-catching Metallic Sonic Silver with Triton Blue ‘GP Edition’. On the other hand, the Burgmann is available in Pearl Moon Stone Gray and Metallic Mat Black.

Power and Performance

Both the Suzuki Avenis and Burgmann come with a robust air-cooled, single-cylinder 125cc engine,. It is capable of delivering a claimed power output of 8.58 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The Burgmann boasts the Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-α) engine with Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) technology. This enhances fuel efficiency by shutting down the engine at stops. Additionally, the Suzuki Silent Starter System ensures quiet engine starts, adding to the overall refinement of the ride.

Features and Functionality

Targeted towards young urban commuters, the Suzuki Avenis boasts an LCD instrument panel with an ‘ECO’ indicator, promoting fuel-efficient riding habits. With a 5.2-litre fuel tank conveniently located behind the seats, refuelling becomes hassle-free.

On the other hand, the Burgmann is positioned as Suzuki’s premium small scooter. It offers extended floorboards and a long wheelbase for enhanced rider ergonomics and stability. Practical features include a spacious 21.5-litre storage compartment, twin helmet hooks, and two utility hooking points. Moreover, the front cowl compartment features a USB charging port, catering to the modern commuter’s connectivity needs.

Availability

You can get the Suzuki Avenis and Burgmann from authorized dealers in Malaysia. Stocks are available to meet the growing demand.

In conclusion, these scooters showcase Suzuki’s dedication to versatile, efficient, and stylish urban mobility solutions. With their performance, functionality, and modern features, they’re set to make a mark in the competitive scooter market.
