With just two rounds left this season, Marquez sticks to his Honda duties, avoiding deep talks about his upcoming Ducati venture.

In a recent AS interview, Marquez stressed his Honda commitment: “I’m giving 100%, and if there’s something to try, I’ll do it.” He’s hesitant to delve into Ducati discussions with future teammates, like brother Alex, out of respect.

“No, no, no. I haven’t talked about Ducati in depth; it’d be disrespectful,” Marquez insisted. “I avoid it, aiming for accurate feedback without contacting my 2024 team.”

While the excitement builds for Marquez’s Valencia Ducati test, he stays grounded, shying away from bold predictions on the potent Ducati machine.

“First, I’ll test the bike, then the full pre-season. After that, I’ll see where we stand,” Marquez shared. “It’s like last year, going through the preseason. Things unfold.”

Despite the intrigue, Marquez stresses no clear objective for the transition. “It’d be a mistake now. The main goal is to have fun on the bike and be competitive.”

With three races left this season, Marquez aims for a strong finish before diving into the Ducati experience. He values professionalism, saving detailed talks for the off-season.

“There’ll be time to talk with Alex, Ducati, Gresini, the new coach, preparing for 2024,” Marquez noted. Until then, he stays committed to Honda, keeping focus on immediate goals. MotoGP eagerly awaits Marquez’s Ducati test, but he remains present, steering clear of distractions to close the current season on a high note.
