Latest reports suggest KTM is preparing to unveil the all-new KTM 250 Adventure next month, October 2020. Here is everything you need to know about KTM’s incoming adventure bike!
Earlier last month we showcased a few spy shots of the KTM 250 Adventure while going through road testing and we speculated KTM would pull the cover off the 250 Adventure by this year. Well, here is the good news, the latest reports from India suggest KTM is preparing to launch the KTM 250 Adventure next month, October 2020. In KTM’s current product lineup, the smallest adventure bike is the KTM 390 Adventure. The 390 Adventure made its first debut last year during ECIMA 2019 in Milan. The 390 is already available in certain markets , however, KTM’s plan with this incoming 250 Adventure is to fulfil and capture riders who are looking for smaller affordable bikes in the adventure segment.
According to Autocar India, KTM and its sister brand Husqvarna will introduce multiple new products. From KTM’s side; they are expected to introduce new colour schemes for the KTM RC125 and 200 alongside introducing the new 250 Adventure.
KTM 250 Adventure Specifications
Although there aren’t any official details on the upcoming KTM 250 Adventure; here are a few things we know so far from the previous spy shots and reports. The KTM 250 Adventure would share the same chassis as the 390 Adventure. Aside from this; the fuel tank, semi-fairing, headlight cluster, wheels, and the front inverted fork would be carried forward from the 390 Adventure too. Although the 250 Adventure would have switchable ABS,it wouldn’t come with traction control and ride-by-wire throttle.
As for the engine, the 250 Adventure would be powered by a 249cc single-cylinder engine. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the 250 Adventure would push around 30 horsepower and 23.9 Nm of peak torque.

In the case of the pricing of the KTM 250 Adventure; sources from India suggests the bike would be priced around 230,000 Indian Rupee which is about US$3,100 or MYR 12,800 (excluding taxes…etc).
