The Malaysian Owned Eclimo is an EV- Company which started its journey back in 2008. The Eclimo ES11 Electric scooter is available for rental in Penang, KL and Selangor regions in Malaysia.

Eclimo started as an R & D company back in 2008 where they Research and developed EV batteries, EV motors and electric scooters. In 2012 they started marketing electric scooters to KFC and Police locally. Later from 2014 to 2015, they increased their production and also started researching and developing bigger EV batteries, motor and also recycle EV batteries. Since then their focus is currently on marketing electric motorcycles, recycle battery, EV battery and EV motor.

Aside from the electric scooter, Eclimo also manufactures Eclimo power which is a green power pack that replaces petrol generators.

Eclimo ES11 Electric Scooter from Malaysia

The locally built ES11 electric scooter is equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle.  The Zero-emission ES11 has a top speed of 100km/h, 20% climbing capacity and 100 Km range per charge. Moreover, fully approved by Sirim, JPJ and also European ECE homologation, the bike is perfectly suitable for road use.  Furthermore, the 11-inch radial hub encloses the electric motor, which puts out a peak power of 6000W and 110Nm of torque.

The Eclimo ES11 is currently in use by KFC, AMANITA-PDRM, MBPP and Petaling Jaya City council. Besides, the ES11 is also in use outside of Malaysia as tuk-tuk by UNESCO heritage in Angkor wat, Cambodia.

So far the ES-11 is not available for public purchase because of high manufacturing cost. However, the ES 11 can be rented out on a daily, monthly or yearly basis in Penang, KL & Selangor regions in Malaysia. For price info kindly check Eclimo’s official website here.
