Repsol Honda’s Jorge Lorenzo will be making his comeback at Silverstone after a speedy recovery.
Repsol Honda Team’s Jorge Lorenzo will be making his comeback to the MotoGP scene at the British Grand Prix on August 25. The Spaniard has taken some time off to focus on his recovery after sustaining fractures to his T6 and T8 vertebrae during the Dutch Grand Prix.
Lorenzo and the team have both agreed that he will sit out on the Czech and Austrian GP to continue his recovery. Any potential injury should be avoided in order to have a speedy recovery. The rider’s condition has seen some improvement thus far. Lorenzo is still in some pain and his movement is still restricted.
Lorenzo has set sights on an optimistic return to Silverstone. Currently, Stefan Bradl is filling in for him in his RC213V. The German had been scheduled to wildcard at the Czech GP. However, for now, he will fill in for Lorenzo as he did at the Sachsenring.
